The Fal Estuary has shaped life in Cornwall for centuries, connecting harbours, villages and communities across one of the world’s great natural anchorages.

Beginning in Falmouth, we cross the water by passenger ferry to St Mawes, a picturesque harbour village on the Roseland Peninsula. From here, the experience continues on foot through a landscape of sheltered creeks, coastal views and quiet lanes towards St Just in Roseland.

Often described as one of Cornwall’s most beautiful churches, St Just sits beside a tidal creek surrounded by subtropical planting and peaceful waterside gardens.

Combining ferry travel, coastal scenery and local history, this experience offers a slower perspective on Cornwall, shaped by the estuary, the landscape and the rhythm of the day.
